'The Eye of The Needle' by Ken Follett

After a very long time, I have come across a thriller that I enjoyed reading, and where I liked the climax. Most thrillers these days build a wonderful storyline, but fall short when it comes to wrapping up, as if their editors just wanted to get the job done before answering the nature's call. But whatever, this was a different novel and I am now a firm Ken Follett fan after just a single novel.
